How you can help our precious cats and kittens:
Adoption Center Staffing & Cleaning
Like to meet people? We need volunteers to staff the Adoption Center on Tuesday & Wednesdays from 1:00 to 5:00 and any time on Saturdays and Sundays.
Like to drive? We are really need volunteers to transport kittens and cats to and from vet appointments.
Like to clean? We also need people who can take a morning, evening or weekend cleaning shifts.
Rescue & Trapping
We rescue abandoned, abused and stray cats. Sometimes these cats are either feral (wild) or very frightened and must be trapped. We have access to traps and, for the friendlier strays, pet carriers. We are in need of volunteers who can help trap (or catch) these strays and/or transport them to the vet for spay/neuter. Again we pay all medical expenses – you would just help with the rescue.
We are looking for foster homes and volunteers to interact with the cats. This may involve hand feeding and nurturing newborn kittens, helping with a special needs cat or just giving a cat some tender loving care.
All kittens remain with their foster parents until they reach 12 weeks of age, at which time they are tested, spayed or neutered and given their vaccinations. The foster parents are normally responsible for the cost of food and litter. We pay the cost of all medical services.
We are always in need of cat food (wet or dry), litter, cleaning supplies and toys.
By shopping our sponsors, you are helping cats in need. See our Sponsors and Savings page for more information.
